My Boys

I am so behind on blogging it is unreal.  Between raising two little bundles of joy, work, and grad school it's just really hard to have time for a lot of extras. I just had to write a little post about Christian and Harrison real quick though because they are changing so much by the day.

Christian is a little over 2 1/2 now and in the best stage yet!  I have so so sooo much fun with him and he's become my little buddy.  I love our conversations, our trips together to run errands, and our late night talks and snuggle sessions.  He is truly a gift straight from God.  I don't want to sound all braggy but the kid is really just perfect in every way.  I look at him so often and think how in the world I am lucky enough to be his mommy. He has the sweetest, most genuine heart for a 2 year old.  He's also my serious, thinker... He has such focus and is very much a perfectionist already.  He's been really easy to teach because he's a good listener and wants to learn.  I guess I don't have much to compare him to but to me and other people in our family, he seems incredibly smart.  My bond with him is so unique and I know he will always have my back... He is truly my little angel.  And the fact that he looks so much like his gorgeous daddy is beside the fact, but that absolutely melts my heart.

And then there's my little bird, Harrison. :) He is going to be ONE in just a couple of weeks - I can not believe it!  He seriously just makes me smile and laugh thinking about him.  That child is FULL of personality!!  He honestly goes to bed and wakes up smiling ear to ear.  He's been such an easy baby... everyone always asks if he ever cries and to be honest, he really doesn't!  He has to be incredibly hungry to cry and that's really the only time.  Every time he falls over or bumps his head/face, or gets tackled by his brother, he just kind of has this look and then goes about his business.. haha! He's tough as a bull and acts like a bull in a china closet for sure!!  He's sweet as ever but I'm thinking he might be the child that gives us a run for our money!  He's a chatter box and giggle monster.  His smile is infectious.  It's hard to have a bad day when he's around!  He's a speed crawler and although he has taken steps everywhere, he acts like he could care less about walking.  Crawling gets him where he needs to go much faster and so that's his main method of travel.  He just cracks us up all the time and added such an amazing dynamic to our family!!  He's my mini me and the older he gets, the more apparent that is!

God has truly blessed us WAY beyond measure.... Raising these two little boys is the most fun, rewarding, exciting thing we could have ever imagined.  Sometimes I get a little sappy about not having a newborn anymore, but I have to say the older they get, the better it gets!  Each stage they go through just gets more and more fun!  It's funny that we literally got a little Corey and a little Kristen - they are both so different and it's just perfect.
